the Eagle's Nest

Would not stay again. Initial impression: B&B was very cute and tidy Customer Service: staff was very rude. Communication is non-existent with this place, they will not return any phone calls once they have you booked. I felt like they didn't want me staying there, they only cared about getting their money. Breakfast: although it is much better than your typical continental breakfast, you will have to compete with any customers coming in for breakfast so get there right away or you won't get anything. Be sure to reiterate that you are a B&B guest or the owner will constantly tell you to pay for breakfast (our waitress was nice though).Bed: I'm not sure this mattress has ever been replaced. Very squeaky and hard. Ceiling fan sounded like it wasn't fully secure, loud and wobbly. Ice machine was broken.

Valentine's Day surprise from my husband. Such a lovely room. Great memories were made on this trip. Fantastic breakfast...plus, interesting, historic town. 2/14/2020

I went there 9 years ago while I was there for work from Texas and had a burger that I still think about to this day. It was part beef, part pork, with a sharp cheese and delicious mayo I wasn't sure I was going to like, but man, that thing was so good. I just remembered the name of the place and wanted to give The Eagles Nest their due. I hope they still have it
